The battery fit in perfectly, however, the dell bios is aware of non-standard dell batteries and warned of possible risks. I read other’s comments and they ultimately had to return the battery. I will do the same.

This battery worked fine for the first 3 or 4 months but then it got to where it would not fully charge. After six months, it would only charge up to 27%. I tested it with HPs built-in battery diagnostic program and also tried to recalibrate it, but the battery failed with a "Replace (42), Fuailure ID Product ID: 4AL76UA#ABA" erorr message. I won't be buying this battery again.Edit: the seller provided great customer service and sent me a replacement battery under their one year warranty.

To be honest this battery has been so good to me! I had a bad battery and unable to use my computer but this battery works great and I’m able to stay connected without needing to keep my charger plugged in!! Definitely recommend!
